What is SanityPress?
SanityPress is a modern starter template, with a CMS built right in, to help you get a website up and running in no time.
Like WordPress, but... you get the idea π
Origin Storyπ
As a developer at a digital marketing agency, my role demands the creation of scalable and maintainable websites that can adapt to rapidly changing environments. Additionally, the ability to build and replicate websites swiftly is crucial.
After numerous iterations and rounds of feedback, SanityPress was born.

The Tech Stackπ
Frontend: Next.js and Tailwind CSSπ
Built with Next.js (App router) and Tailwind CSS, SanityPress includes a number of pre-built components that are fully responsive and fully customizable.
Did I mention, how fast? Perfect Lighthouse scores on desktop? (And nearly perfect on mobile, too)
Backend: Sanity and Vercelπ
Sanity is used as the backend to store all contentβanything from navigation menus, to blog posts and redirects. Also fully customizable.
The Villains The Competitionπ
There are a number of other similar Sanity starter templates built on the Next.js framework that offer slightly different solutions and approaches.
HULLπ
Probably one of the most well-known projects with built-in Shopify integration.
Unfortunately, this project hasn't been updated since 2022 and is already collecting some dust.
Definitely worth checking out, though.
Personal Websiteπ
A beautiful website and very close contender to SanityPress, this starter template comes included with both Visual Editing and an embedded Studio.
Would be nice to see some screenshots of the Studio, but nonetheless enough to get a website up quickly.

Clean Next.js + Sanity appπ
Although a simpler alternative, this official template is featured on Sanity's template directory listing.
However, it too is yet to update to the Next.js App Router. The Sanity Studio is also still on an outdated version (v3.28.0
).
